Where do you fit?

Every client situation is different.
Start with yours.

Personal Tax — T1

Your return deserves more than data entry.

For most Canadians, a T1 is routine. For entrepreneurs, investors, and professionals, it's a strategic filing that touches every other part of your financial picture — your RRSP room, income-splitting opportunities, your capital gains exposure, and your corporate position if you're incorporated. We prepare T1 returns with that full picture in view, not just the slips in front of us.

  • Rental income and capital gains
  • Self-employment and employment expenses
  • Coordination with your corporate filings
  • Foreign holdings and cross-border income

Corporate Tax — T2

Compliance built on strategy, not just deadlines.

A corporation is the most powerful tax-planning vehicle available to Canadian entrepreneurs — but only if it's managed correctly year over year. The difference between a T2 that's merely filed and one that's optimized can be tens of thousands of dollars annually. We handle T2 compliance for owner-managed CCPCs, professional corporations, and holding companies, and we review every corporate filing alongside your personal return so nothing falls through the gap.

  • Salary vs. dividend optimization
  • RDTOH, GRIP, and CDA pool management
  • Professional and holding corporations
  • GST/HST and information return compliance

Strategic Tax Consulting

High-stakes situations handled with the precision they demand.

Some tax matters carry real consequences if handled imprecisely — a poorly structured reorganization, a missed election, a CRA audit without proper representation. These situations require someone who does the research, understands the legislation, and communicates your position clearly and defensibly. We handle complex, high-stakes engagements personally, scoped individually after a proper discovery conversation.

  • Corporate reorganizations and estate freezes
  • CRA audit defense and objections
  • Business sales and LCGE planning
  • Cross-border and international tax matters

A 30-minute discovery call at no charge. We map your current situation, identify the right service tier, and tell you honestly whether we're the right fit — before any commitment is made.

Deep Analysis

We gather your documents through a secure digital organizer, then do the work — researching the applicable law, legislation, and CRA administrative positions specific to your situation. Every position is tailored, not templated.

Clear Execution

You receive a plain-language summary of your position, the risk level, likely outcomes, and contingency plans — then we file, advise, or advocate as needed. You always know where you stand and why.

Why this practice exists

Will Lee, CPA

Tax Advisory Principal

I spent over a decade in the specialty tax groups of some of Canada's largest accounting firms — work that demanded real technical depth and gave me exposure to complex structures I wouldn't have encountered anywhere else.

What I noticed, consistently, was that the clients with the most complex situations were often the ones with the least direct access to the person actually doing their work. Engagements moved fast, files were large, and genuine relationships were hard to sustain at scale.

I built this practice around a different model. A limited client base, no time pressure, and a principal who is personally involved in every file from start to finish. The goal is straightforward: to do the work properly, explain it clearly, and be available when it matters — not just at year-end.

Before you reach out

A few things worth knowing.

Common questions, answered directly.

That's exactly the kind of situation we're here for. Unfiled years, CRA correspondence, reassessments, audit requests — these feel urgent and overwhelming, but they're technical problems with structured solutions. Reaching out sooner gives us more options.
Complexity is what we're built for. Simple returns have software. If your situation involves a corporation, multiple income streams, or anything the CRA might scrutinize, that's precisely where this practice operates.
That's common, and we'll always be upfront about it. In our experience, arrangements where two professionals share a file tend to create ambiguity — about scope, about accountability, about who's responsible when something needs attention. We prefer to work with clients where we have the full picture. If you're in a transition or considering a change, that's a conversation worth having on the discovery call.
It's not too late — but timing matters. The CRA's Voluntary Disclosure Program can significantly reduce penalties and interest for taxpayers who come forward before CRA contacts them. Sooner is always better.
